Debating Success

On Friday afternoon (16th Nov)  Piper’s Hill Transition Year students Sadie Byrne and Ailish Corrigan took part in the Soroptimist Public Speaking Competition in Clane. Other schools competing were from Kilcock, Rathcoole, Clane, Maynooth and Newbridge. From the 12 competitors two girls were chosen to go through to the semi-final round, one of whom was Sadie. Ailish was then chosen as the first reserve (or second place). The next round will take place in Wexford on 3rd February. Congratulations to both girls on their success.
