Eighteen students travelled to Durtal in the Loire region of France recently and spent one week on the return leg of an annual language exchange programme. The students were hosted by local families. The college has strong links with the region historically and it is wonderful to see this event continue from year to year. Students were treated to a variety of activities each day which included visits to a local chocolate factory, a boat trip on the Loire, a day in local caves and French classes in their host school. The students and their accompanying teachers Ms Keeley and Ms Mc Neeley enjoyed their time in France immensely.
